About this game

Skul is a fast-paced action rogue-lite where losing your head is encouraged.

Featuring 100 playable characters each with their own unique abilities and a ton of items that can create wild synergies, the battles are as electrifying as they are challenging.

The Demon King's Castle in Ruins

The human race attacking the Demon King's castle is nothing new and has happened countless times before. What makes this time different though, is that the Adventurers decided to join forces with the Imperial Army and the 'Hero of Caerleon' to lead a full onslaught in hopes of wiping out the Demons once and for all.

They attacked the Demon stronghold with overwhelming numbers and succeeded in its total destruction. All of the demons in the castle were taken prisoner except for one lone skeleton named 'Skul'.

Dark Mirror Mode

Once you're through with the main story, test your skills and limits in the new challenging 'Dark Mirror' mode!

FEATURES
-You’re the last hope of the entire demon race! Play as Skul, a tiny skeleton on a path to slay the pompous heroes and save the demon king from the corrupt army of Carleon.
-Losing your head never felt so right: try on new skulls to borrow the powers and dashing outfits of their previous owners and create synergies with unique items to defeat your enemies.
-What is dead may never die: you will not rest until you have faced all the challenges of this action-packed rogue-lite platformer.
-Let your hollow eyes feast upon vibrant, cartoony pixel-art 2D animations as you help all sorts of demonic creatures return to their original state.
-From the Mummies of Egypt to the Minotaur of Greece or even an official Dead Cells crossover… Will you spot all the fun easter eggs scattered across the game?

Besides Dead Cells it's hands down the best port of a PC game on mobile. Excellent controls, very responsive, I've gotten to mirror level 4 so far since launch so it isn't limiting, though controller support was added as well. Hopefully they add the mythology update soon. Can't recommend it enough, did a whole new third playthrough when it came onto mobile. So much variety in skulls, builds and items, always a new run to try out. One of the best roguelites of all time.

Galileo G8+ doesn't seem to work in any of the connection states (Android, Switch, PS4). Would absolutely rate 5 stars otherwise edit* I appreciate the quick reply! I was just hopeful that one of the console modes would work. It's a great game, though, and a well-made android port deserves 5 stars. Hope to see more devs port good games like this to android!

Hi ! On Android, the market. is so highly diversified in terms of devices and controller models that we unfortunately cannot test and guarantee compatibility with each one of them, so it is possible that your controller is not compatible with the game, I'm verysorry.

Good in concept and up until the dark mirror portion is a good and well-balanced game. After that, it becomes much more challenging, to the point that it's no longer enjoyable since there are too many enemies and nowhere near enough items to power up to the point that you don't die before making it very far. I understand that the dark mirror is intended to be more challenging, but they did not need to turn the difficulty up to 1000 in order to do so.
